Apostolic provides community based mentoring
services.
Our program is unique in that our mentoring takes on
various forms.
Primarily mentoring relationships are one-to-one.
This follows the traditional model of mentoring where one adult is paired
with one youth. There is typically a one-year or more commitment, based on
the needs of the youth.
Four areas of mentoring:
Community-based—mentoring within the community where
the youth and mentor participate in various community activities.
School-based-mentoring with an emphasis on academic
achievement.

Work-based– mentoring with an emphasis on learning
basic workplace skills and future aspirations— college/career goals.
